Plate support
On a conveyor belt with plate support the belt is dragged over a full plate. Therefore, the belt is provided with a woven underside to prevent early wear. The plate can be made in steel, plastic or concrete.
Advantages:
- Cheaper than roller support
Applications:
- Small loads
- Limited capacity
- Low power
- Non-food
